Other treasures in life are friends. There are some wonderous people that have graced the stage of my life. There are good times, hard times, and always fun and lovely times. It's strange but i truly believe that people need both small and large doses of misery to truly enjoy the pleasurable periods of their lives. Humans are so strange. Or maybe it's just me. For my Friends: Remember that everything you feel, everything you experience, someone else has experienced it before, is experiencing it now, or will. I never used to believe that...it sounded too...potentially chessy...I mean, "You are NOT alone." Waa haa. Really, what a Sci-Fi line. But you know, it's not BS, unlike many other things. So whenever you feel like a pile do doo-doo on a hot humid sticky day, just remember there is someone else out there that feels that way too! I don't know how comforting it is to know that there are two stinky warm mooshy piles of fecal matter but heck, you never know! When you're down, it helps, (as sick as it is) to know that others are also down, and in knowing so we feel better. Remember to be nice to everyone around you. Or at least polite. Although it may be THAT much more easy for you to "not be nice" you should make that extra effort. In doing so you make someone else's life that little bit less potentially miserable. Besides, how would you like it if no one contained their nasty thoughts about you... example, "You are not a very nice person and your shoes don't match your shirt!" Now not everyone wants to hear this in the morning... so be considerate! |
